CBI website down… apparently someone forgot to pay a bill.

The Central Bank of Iraq website is down, and this message is in it’s place:

This Account Has Been Suspended
Possible reasons why you are seeing this message:

  • The account was a free web hosting account associated with a Runbox Email account that has been terminated.
  • The account was a paid web hosting account that was not renewed.
  • The account’s contact information could not be confirmed.

Seriously, Iraq! Your Stock Exchange trades are done with a chalkboard and one of your main banks is running on a virtual hosting account? Those accounts are like $10 per month, and nobody has a Visa card to set up automatic bill payments?! I can’t help but laugh here!
