Russia and Iraq to move forward with contracts

admin

As of today, Russian officials state that Iraq has improved stability in the country, aided by the Iraqi Government. An official source states that Iraqi al-Maliki will be leaving Baghdad, headed for Russia to meet with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin. They will be received by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

As reported earlier, Russia and Iraq are expected to re-engage Saddam area oil contracts. Al-Maliki’s visit is expected to speed up that process.
