I can't read Arabic but I can read a lot of signs that tell me...I hope...that a reevaluaton is upon us.

Something has to happen there soon. They need to get the currency
flowing there as soon as they can. That is imperative since the locals
can't afford to buy the imported goods that Iraq almost totally depends
upon. The standard of living and the quality of life are most important
to that country now. Getting money flowing would be the salve upon
the wounds of war.

Why would the military switch to the electronic card system that is
based on the Iraqi economy and and their dinar? To keep the U.S. dollar
out of the blackmarket I am told. This was done in other wars in the form
of "script" I believe, rather than the local money. Not here. They are pumping
money into the local economy while they accomplish the security of the USD.
The electronic cards are being issued to the civilian population at this time
if what I read is true. That and the printing of lots of small denomination
bills and producing more coins seems to say something, too.

Iraq is the poster child for democracy in the Middle East. The US
and other nations are doing all they can to make it happen in Iraq.. It is
obvious that until the HUGELY under valued IQD is given a respectable
value, nothing can happen. I would think this would be a priority right now,
wouldn't you?

I think about how much would each dinar would have to be worth to make
things start happening for the Iraqi working class...the huge popluation that must
be focused upon...the little people. I hardly think a dime would do it, but maybe
I am missing something. My gut tells me that fifty cents US might make a huge
difference. Don't ask me why I think this way....probably just the emulsion of
all I have been reading . Do you have a take on this?

Let me know what is shaking and you feel about my ramblings.

God bless and drive on,
