I was at finance today nothing has changed at all. I can still get 600 USD in IQD a month if I so choose to use with the “local venders” and or withdraw USD from my ECC. I was neither confirming or denying the flier, I asked how or why would they limit soldiers to having only IQD. They wouldn’t. As for how they pay me, well of course its in USD direct deposit in the states. Come on! As I read through my first post I can see how one would think that I was making a statement and not asking a question. I jumped the gun and went of the flier and not on fact. The flier is indeed false as I got USD from ECC today. So basically this whole conversation is pointless. I invested the first time I was here in 2004. I doubt being here will give me any inside information but if I here something before I see it posted then I will post. He's not military, but he's kinda "military support"...he buys and sells stuff to them that they need, or something like that. Anyway, I sent him an email about 2 days ago asking him if he could verify the "rumor" about the USD no longer being used in Iraq. He responded rather mater-of-factly that the practice has been in place since the beginning of October to help strengthen the Dinar. He'd like to see an RV as well. I guess I can move this one from rumor to fact. I don't know if that means RV is tomorrow, but I'm sure it's closer. I wish I had some; that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
