UN Meeting tomorrow

Just a quick note to Dinar Currency speculators – the United Nations is meeting tomorrow to discuss the situation in Iraq. Could this be the end of Chapter 7, a resolution to the HCL, or something else of that nature?

Let’s hope so!

Discuss it on the forum. Thanks to Texas777 for posting it. (LINK).

    Hi

And what a load of rubish that news turned out to be.

the chapter 7 wasnt mentioned or it might have been but not in them words, basicly it was mentioned at the end at that was it

I watched it, it was like watching the formula 1 grand prix but without any cars.
heres the link if you are finding it hard to sleep at night this will certainly get you of to sleep.

    http://www.un.org/webcast/2010.html

there are 4 clips i doubt if you will watch all 4.

probably the biggest ainti climax of the dinar speculation world.

Im glad we have such an informative captian at the helm to bring use the best breaking news yet.

i predict that on the next un press release about the polar ice cap that ater this the chapter 7 will be lifted & the RV will happen instantly, the rate will be $3.45.

I came to this conclusion using the deduction of guess work, perhaps rather than using other large words such as speculation, predictions deductions of the facts & so on that the rest use the same word.

GUESSING IS THE ONLY WORD THAT IS MISSING FROM ANY ONES PREDICTIONS OF THE RV

    IRAN – IRAQ
    Iran dominates the Iraqi economy
Tehran is especially strong in the field of reconstruction of houses, schools, hotels, shops. Collaborations with Iraqi companies selected according to their proximity to Iranian policies. Tehran’s influence is greater today than at the time of Saddam Hussein.

Baghdad (AsiaNews) – The Iraqi government is calling on Iran to urgently meet the commitments made in the field of post-conflict reconstruction and that are waiting to be realized for over a year now. The projects cover major public works: some bridges, three highways and a new city. The Minister for Building and Reconstruction, Bayan Dazaai said that Iraq expected Iranian companies to open up sites as envisaged in the Memorandum of Understanding signed last year between the two majority Shiite nations.

Companies from the Islamic Republic are very active in Iraq, where the Iranian regime exerts a strong influence not only in politics. The aim of constraining the developments in Iraq is motivated by a number of strategic factors, but also by cultural and religious interests.

Iran is Iraq’s biggest trading partner with a trade volume that is forecast to exceed 5 billion dollars in 2010. The economic influence of Tehran has resulted in recent years with the invasion of the Iraqi market of cheap goods (mainly building materials and equipment). The Iranian government has maintained its export paying exporting firms 3% of the value of the product which they sell abroad. This has allowed the sale of Iranian goods below market price squeezing local competition and stifling development. The agricultural sector, once the central economy Iraq, has been impoverished because of the aggressive economic activity of Iran.

The construction sector is still the area where Tehran is most active. Many state companies have invested consistently in post-conflict reconstruction. In 2008, Iran offered a loan of one billion dollars for projects that use Iranian contractors and labour. In February 2009 Iran was awarded the 1.5 billion dollar contract for the proposed construction of a complex of houses, schools, hotels and shops in Basra.

The building projects in some cases are closely tied to religious tourism, another field in which the influence of the Islamic regime is very strong. Several companies have invested with public participation in the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala pilgrimage sites for Shiite community worldwide. The governor of Najaf, speaks of about 20 million dollars a year for projects to improve infrastructure. The pilgrims who come from Iran each year number in their hundreds of thousands. The Iranian state-owned companies operating in the field t choose with what Iraqi companies to do business for the transport, environmental protection and housing for their clients. The choice is dictated largely by political affiliation, almost all of the Iraqi partner companies are tied to parties that are very close to the interests of Tehran.

Iran has also invested heavily in the banking sector in 2007 a Baghdad branch of the Bank Melli opened. This, according to the U.S. Department of Treasury, is one of the financial instruments through which the Islamic regime gathers material for its nuclear and missile program. The bank also offers financial services to the notorious “Quds” division of the Revolutionary Guard, which provides training to Iraqi militias. has also invested heavily in the banking sector in 2007 a Baghdad branch of the Bank Melli opened.

Seven years after the American invasion, Tehran has more influence over developments in post-Saddam Iraq than it ever had before.

Iraq predicts “package deal” will be reached with Kuwait after elections

Politics 2/16/2010 11:51:00 PM UNITED NATIONS, Feb 16 (KUNA) –

Iraqi Ambassador to the UN Hamid Al-Bayati on Tuesday predicted that “a package deal” will be reached with Kuwait about “everything” after the Iraqi elections scheduled for March 7th.

Al-Bayati told KUNA following a Security Council meeting on the situation in Iraq that “a package deal about everything will be reached after the elections.” He did not elaborate.

He later told reporters that there are three outstanding issues with Kuwait: the missing persons and property, the compensation fund and the border.

He recalled that Iraq paid more than USD 27 billion in compensation to those affected by the 1990 invasion of Kuwait, and is expected to pay USD 25 billion more.

“This issue will not be closed until all the compensations are paid in full, ” he stressed.

“We are working to resolve all these outstanding issues. There are now good relations with the brotherly State of Kuwait. But this needs time and efforts, as there are newly discovered mass graves, and hopefully, we will find in them the remains of some Kuwaiti missing persons,” he said For the sanctions regime, he said Iraq is no longer a threat to international peace and security and does not possess weapons of mass destruction (WMD).

“We believe it is high time for the UN to lift all sanctions and restrictions imposed on Iraq,” he urged.

Ad Melkert, the UN Special envoy for Iraq, told reporters in answer to questions by KUNA “we are basically discussing the border issue with everyone, including the Iraqis. We are trying to come to a conclusion as soon as possible.” Asked what the Iraqi objection is to allow the UN to send experts to maintain the border posts, Melkert said “I cannot be specific on that. It has our attention because it is an important issue.” On what is needed for Iraq to do to exit Chapter VII, Melkert said “we hope very much that soon after the elections it will be possible to work with the new Iraqi Government on resolving all issues that eventually would enable that, that includes the relation with Kuwait.” He said he held talks with Kuwaiti officials in Kuwait last month and “I intend to continue those conversations to bring the parties together as quickly as possible.”

What’s happening with the Iraqi dinar – besides nothing?
    1. At one time it was proclaimed that the reval had to occur no later than 30 days before the election. Around that time it was declared that the election was to be on March 7, 2010. It looks as though it’s been moved to the 12th or 17th. Which is it? Even if it’s going to be on 3/17, that means it should have revaled either on 2/15 (30 days prior to 3/17) or 2/17 (the same numbered date in February!? Today is the 18th. I don’t think the dinar was revalued by today, has it? 2. It was declared that none of the candidates could even discuss the dinar reval in their campaign speeches during the 30 days prior to the election, let alone initiate the reval. Otherwise, they’ll be arrested and eliminated as a candidate. Is all of this that true?
    3. If Iran is having such an impact on the economy of Iraq which may be partially the result of their recent loan to Iraq ofa billion dollars, which has been indicated in the news; 1. Will their involvement hold up the reval for another week, month, year(s) – forever? 2. If they gain the economic control of Iraq, what would the impact be on the Iraqi dinar, will Iraq now reval the dinar around Iran’s or the Gulf currency??? Does the U.S. even recognize the Gulf currency or Iran’s? Will our dinars be worth anything then? 3. Has there been an indication, as a result of Iran’s playing footsie with Iraqi candidates as reported in the news, that they are offering a deal to annex Iraq???? 4. While this procrastination keeps going on and on, is Iraq, who actually approved the RV during the last eight months, giving preferential treatment to the major league investors and “global overlords,” including members of all of the not so “secret societies” of which the Bushes, Clintons, Cheneys, Biden (and probably Obama is now, too); and others are members to bring the all the countries into the new world order and who have personally bought billions upon billions of dinars, to cash their dinars in before the official exchange date – at a high exchange rate and then giving us “serfs” of the world an exchange rate of $.10 – or less??? AS part of that question, is it LEGAL for them to do it. If it’s illegal, who’s going to bring Iraq and the people who exchanged early to COURT???? – the Chief of Police in Tehran????? (That was a joke). Cedrtainly not the U.N. or the governments in the world that are “owned” by the global overlords and who were the people who got their money out. Actually, I would imagine they can do anything they want, don’t you. 5. Finally, do you have confirmed information as to when the dinar exchange is going to occur and for a confirmed amount? – or do you have to qualify your comments as being from “reliable” chat (rumor) rooms like the rest of us do?

My fellow Dinar lovers, I was researching a bit on the UN…found this and wanted to share. It just talks about some uplifting (Iraq will make it) news.

People, Adam is simply providing a portal for dinar speculation(says so right in the website name). As you should know, speculation is all about perseption, opinion and rumor. Stop blaming the guy for not having a crystal ball. This is his job, keeping the web site up and trying to keep interesting things headlined so people will see the sponsers adds. This is not a bad thing my friends…it is his job. He has to sell add spots so the matieral he provides you is free. You do not expect him to pay out of pocket just so we can write and read posts do you?

  38. Jason Jason says:

I would suggest that you calm down a little bit. The Irai Dinar is an investment..and with any investment requires patience(a LOT)! Reading into to many peoples opinions can really mess with your head at times. I like to read these for intertainment and keep me informed but I take every thing with a grain of salt. Good luck to you (us) my friend…let our day come soon!

P.S. Keep in mind, that even so called experts, can only offer their OPINION. No body knows.
