Hey all, our Conference call was a success and went pretty smooth!

Well, mostly smooth. I posted the wrong access code, and my phone almost melted after the first 4 minutes or so with people calling to inform me of my error. I quickly changed the code on the website and we hit about 1500 callers inside of 7 minutes. That lasted for about 20 minutes, at which point…

We toppled the system due to, I assume, all of the callers trying to get in! Our amazing Emcee Barbann (Moderator and *VIP Concierge* on DinarVets.com) quickly set the call back up and people furiously dialed in…

We capped it at about 900 for the second half of the call, to ensure no further issues. Sorry if you didn’t get on!

I’ll be posting the call for everyone here a little later, and I’ll send out a newsletter when it’s up.

Thanks for tuning in everyone, and thanks also for the great response in chat afterward. It’s awesome to put things like this together for such an appreciative crowd, and the few hecklers in the crowd are always outweighed by the good apples. Thanks again!

This is your one notice, friends. We’re doing a free conference call tonight for the Dinar News network. (Dinar News = RV Intel Book Club, DinarVets.com message board, DinarSpeculation newsletter… well, you get the idea. )

2. We’re going to break down some current news. How close are we? What’s the GCC’s take on the situation? What about the WTO? Upping the revenues tenfold – how will that affect our investment? And more.

3. Finally, we’ll take some more questions in chat after the call.

Oh, you thought Maliki was out for good?

LOL! Hey, my friends – listen. This is the most important thing you can understand about this investment.

This is Iraq – things take time!

It doesn’t matter what happens today, yesterday, or 3 “key political dates” from now. This is an emerging economy, a growing political process, and an opportunity that is going to take some time. Be patient!

For those of you that don’t spend 80 hours a day researching the Iraqi Dinar, here’s a quick update.

1. Maliki isn’t out of the fight yet. As reported on MSNBC, the deaths of primary al-quaida members has played a role in the POST election drama that includes allegations of fraud and a possible overturn of Allawis so-called “victory”. At the moment, there is no clear victor – we await the final manual recount to see if Maliki hangs on for another term. (This is key.)

2. If you were in chat or on the DinarVets.com forum, you caught the frenzy of a 9 cent reval – it was a fluke, but people were excited. People were talking, and today – people are sad and angry. And tomorrow people will go back to counting on the next “key date” to give them news of an RV. (This is not important, other than to set an example. BE PATIENT.)

3. The Kurdish President Massoud Barzani sent a ratified 2010 budget to Parliament. (This is key.)

4. Do you question the RV potential? Might want to see this post in the forums. An economist’s RV explanation.

5. Oh, there’s tons more… stay tuned.

It’s going to happen, friends! The only thing that matters is if you are prepared for it.

Be thankful that you get a little extra time to prepare, maybe get some stocks on the ISX, maybe toss some cash into a Warka account.

Lastly, a quick note on the dinarvets forum. I know a lot of people are having login issues, and I’ve figured out how to fix it. This has nothing to do with VIP, NaziMods, or anything you did – it’s just a problem on the website and it will be fixed within a week.

Hi All!

I know many of you left comments, and even more emailed, and I know there’s been some silence here – I’m sorry!

I’m busy. The only reason I’m posting right now is I want you to know a few things.

1 – I’m not in jail, not even close. Thanks for starting that rumor, you know who you are.

2. My book is NOT available for purchase until I can do a major update to it, which should be done within the week.

3. VIP is currently closed to new members. If you weren’t able to get in – I’m sorry. If you DID get in, and your membership ran out – I’ll let you back in, just send an email to VIP@dinarvets.com

Many many MANY people ask about the “LOP” theory. I may not have specifically and clearly addressed this in the past, so here it is:

The Iraqi Dinar is not going to lop.

With that said, let’s examine the LOP theory so you all understand it. At certain times in history, countries have chosen to “lop” the last 3 zeros off of their currency, which basically makes a 25,000 note worth 25. Fairly simple. The question we need to ask is this:

Why do countries lop?

One reason is hyperinflation. Sometimes a country prints currency so fast and furious that the economy can’t keep up, and the value of the currency goes down, down, down. Take the Zimbabwe currency, for example. A “Zimbabwean Millionaire” doesn’t really have too much to brag about. Here’s a picture. Actually, this guy may be a Zimbabwe Zillionaire, depending on the size of the notes!

That is Zimbabwe, though. Not Iraq.

Iraq does not have the inflation problem, Iraq is not a country with no way of obtaining wealth to increase the value of it’s currency like Zimbabwe. Iraq doesn’t even need to invent a gadget to make money, like China could do…

Their pockets are already lined with Black Gold.

I have said many times that Iraq’s currency is possibly THE most stable currency in the entire world, and aswat al iraq recently concurred with that statement:

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The exchange rates of the Iraqi Dinar (ID) against the U.S. Dollar is currently constant and stable, an adviser of the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) said on Thursday.

“Currency policies are normally unstable in an absolute way,” Modhihar Mohammed Selah told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

He said that the CBI intervenes to respond to legal demands of customers regarding the U.S. Dollar.

Currency policies are inherently unstable, but the Iraqi Dinar is stable.

Baghdad, April 1 (AKnews) – Iraq’s central bank denied on Thursday the reports that talked about its decision to cancel three zeroes from the Iraqi currency.

“The central bank will not cancel three zeroes from the Iraqi currency at this time to reduce inflation suffered by the Iraqi economy…. Canceling the zeroes will make things more complicated and would cost the state large sums of money and enormous economic cadres to implement this project. ” The head of the Central Bank Sinan Al-Shabibi told the Independent National News Agency of Kurdistan (AKnews).

Every single dealer will be audited and they WILL give up your name. If you’re not better prepared, you can plan on handing over up to HALF of your money

to Uncle Sam – even if he’s not your real uncle. He does not care.
