Oh, you thought Maliki was out for good?
LOL! Hey, my friends – listen. This is the most important thing you can understand about this investment.
This is Iraq – things take time!
It doesn’t matter what happens today, yesterday, or 3 “key political dates” from now. This is an emerging economy, a growing political process, and an opportunity that is going to take some time. Be patient!
For those of you that don’t spend 80 hours a day researching the Iraqi Dinar, here’s a quick update.
1. Maliki isn’t out of the fight yet. As reported on MSNBC, the deaths of primary al-quaida members has played a role in the POST election drama that includes allegations of fraud and a possible overturn of Allawis so-called “victory”. At the moment, there is no clear victor – we await the final manual recount to see if Maliki hangs on for another term. (This is key.)
2. If you were in chat or on the DinarVets.com forum, you caught the frenzy of a 9 cent reval – it was a fluke, but people were excited. People were talking, and today – people are sad and angry. And tomorrow people will go back to counting on the next “key date” to give them news of an RV. (This is not important, other than to set an example. BE PATIENT.)
3. The Kurdish President Massoud Barzani sent a ratified 2010 budget to Parliament. (This is key.)
4. Do you question the RV potential? Might want to see this post in the forums. An economist’s RV explanation.
5. Oh, there’s tons more… stay tuned. 
It’s going to happen, friends! The only thing that matters is if you are prepared for it.
Be thankful that you get a little extra time to prepare, maybe get some stocks on the ISX, maybe toss some cash into a Warka account.
Lastly, a quick note on the dinarvets forum. I know a lot of people are having login issues, and I’ve figured out how to fix it. This has nothing to do with VIP, NaziMods, or anything you did – it’s just a problem on the website and it will be fixed within a week.

(3) We then moved to the removal of big bills (the ones with the 3 zeros on them) and he said that this activity was always built into the plan. The activity was to begin as soon as Iraq had implemented a modern digital financial system (i.e. bank branches, credit/debit cards, ATM’s, direct wire transfers etc.). The removal of the large bills in-country would be the reverse of the process that was used to remove the pre-2003 currency with Saddams picture on it. The example was a 25,000 IQD=$25USD/pre-rv note would be brought into the bank and exchanged for a 25 IQD note=$25 USD post/rv. The 25,000 IQD note would then be destroyed removing it from the currency in circulation account. I told him a lot of people would call that a LOP and he laughed, saying they are partially right, because 25,000 IQD was being lopped from the currency in circulation account, but the only reason for this process was to improve money handling ability at all organization levels, and reduce the actual physical currency in use in all areas of the Iraq economy.
Smells like a turd to me…

Hey guys just wondering what the GREAT news is and all the “thanks so much.” I love Adam’s insights and gathering of info, especially when I’m busy working. But, the fact of the matter is that this is the same stuff I’ve been hearing for six years. “Wait til this happens,” and “guess what just happened?” It means absolutely nothing. The only thing that is true in the statement was that ANOTHER rumor was debunked(.09 reval and Maliki’s pissed he lost) Where’s the other GREAT news. Put your waiting shoes on people……….6 years and 1000 debunked rumors later I’m still hoping but we have a few years to go.
Matthew I think you missed the point about Maliki because maybe your eyes were crossed when you saw the 9 cent reval.
1. Maliki may not have lost, re-read the article.
2. If you just stuck with this site, you wouldn’t be upset about the 9 cent reval “rumor” – because the first time I talked about it was to let you know it wasn’t true lol!

I recently read an article where a retired State Dept. economist, one who was involved in the orgiinal plan to install a new monetary system for Iraq after the 2003 invasion, had this to say…The economics of the scenario of $1 USD = 1 IQD, look like this, using the exchange of a 10,000 IQD note with a two-tier 2% bank exchange spread as an example: 1) Mr. & Mrs. X get $9,800 credited to their non-interest bearing checking account. 2) Bank Y gets $10,000 credit form the Federal Reserve account, and by adding the $200 profit to their captial account, allows them to increase their lending cap by $2,000 under the 10% fractional banking model. 3) The treasury gets $3,500 in estimated taxes in the quarter after the exchange, because Mr. & Mrs. X are now in the “rich” category and get to enjoy the 35% tax bracket. This lowers the net cost of the IQD exchange to the US financial system to $6,500 USD. Mr. and Mrs. X tithe to their church, local charity etc. which stimulates activity in that sector. They pay off their debts, making currency available for re-lending by their creditors. They buy a new house and car which stimulates their local economy and set up a conservative investment portfolio which adds capital to the investment markets. They also pay their estimate taxes which increases the cash flow to the US Treasury. To this layperson, this all sounds good. Of course the scenario presented here is predicated on an RV of $1 USD = 1 IQD, which many sources are warming up to as being more than mere speculation. Adam, or other members of this community….I welcome your thoughts on this.
