Adam Montana’s “Offshore banking” scandal and Maliki Interview

Adam Montana

Your Tuesday Iraqi News and Dinar update is here! I’m talking about two topics this morning: The “Offshore Banking” scandal that my name is attached to, and a legitimate Maliki Interview.

First… let me make a statement regarding the internet “noise” about me. I am a firm believer that if what you’re doing isn’t worth talking about, you’re not doing it right! The fact that people keep talking about me, even if it’s negative, even if they make up accusations and try to cast doubt on my integrity, even if they stand behind fake screen names and make up complete lies… that in itself is a sign that I’m doing something that matters.

I do believe that I’m guilty of one thing, and it needs to be addressed. I am GUILTY of bringing something a little too complicated to the table recently. If you don’t know what I”m talking about, read on.

I recently helped introduce Foreign Corporations and International Banking to the VIP members. I made the mistake of including the term “Offshore” in the VIP conference calls and some people never took the time to listen to the guts of the call… they simply assumed I was encouraging tax evasion.

I’d like to clear that up. Take for example my wife, who is a CPA. It is her described and acknowledged duty to her clients to save them every penny possible on their tax returns. If you don’t have to pay an extra penny to the IRS, her job as a licensed CPA is to help you “avoid” paying that tax! For example, standard deductions. When you check the box that says you have a dependent, you get a tax break. Now, is that “tax evasion”? Well, you’re “evading” paying extra “taxes”. So, YES! That’s “tax evasion”! Is it illegal? NO! Not even slightly.

The same thing goes for the Foreign Corporation and International Banking procedures we discussed recently in the VIP – they can save you money, but that doesn’t mean it’s illegal!

I am 100% guilty, however, of introducing a complicated subject to certain people who may not have been ready for that type of education.

(If I made you concerned, I apologize. If you’re interested in it, simply join VIP here. If you simply want to cash in and pay as much as Uncle Sam suggests you do without checking extra boxes, that’s ok too! I thank you for your contributions to our wonderful government, they need every penny they can get! ;) )

Final Statement on the matter: It is not illegal to hold your money in an account that is not inside the United States. It is also not illegal to protect your assets by legally utilizing a foreign corporation. End Of Story.

So, to the news! Here’s an interview with Maliki. No, not a pretend interview by an anonymous internet figure who hides behind an unpronouncable name… a REAL interview by the Washington Post! I especially like the first part, where the interviewer leads off with the assumption that Maliki has a very strong chance.

How confidant are you that you will be the next prime minister?

Maliki: The candidate of the State of Law [Maliki] is the one with the better chance. Many achievements were linked to State of Law. Iraq will remember that the State of Law, and its candidate, was there when the body of the state collapsed entirely but came back to be coherent.

Oh yeah, remember way back a few months ago when I predicted Maliki would win? And then Allawi was announced to have “won” the election, and all the dinar websites out there laughed and said “HA! Adam Montana is finally wrong!” And then they danced in the streets and were merry as they gloated in what they thought was a miserable day for me…

I smiled and shook my head and continued to drive the DinarSpeculation train down the tracks, and now look.
Seriously, I’m glad they had a good time dancing in the streets, and I hope you enjoyed the dancing as well… but I hope you didn’t take the clowns too seriously. As usual, they jumped the gun and made crazy statements based on too little facts. And as usual, those crazy statements start to fall apart in the aftermath, when reality starts to sink in.

Now, don’t get me wrong! I could be wrong, and maybe Allawi will come out the ultimate victor! Regardless of the winner, I stand by my original and final statement: no matter who is driving that bus, it’s heading the same way.

To RV Land.

Are we there yet? ;)

Talk to you soon!

and your point is what again?

May 25, 2010

WINO we have reps from the West Coast that are going to give all VIP members a one hour consultation after RV. We’re also doing mini seminars, I have 3 or 4 completed and just waiting for this thing to happen so we can tailor them to fit the exact RV details. Finally, no – my wife isn’t doing any work for anyone other than our personal ventures either before or after RV. :)

Inahurry, do you ever have anything positive to say?

Having an offshore account is not only wise, it’s very wise. Here’s why………. the only real reason to have an offshore account (Asset Protection Trust, Foundation, corporation, etc. etc.) is to “protect” your assets…….not hide them from the US authorities. The whole purpose of doing something like this is for this reason alone. If you set up an offshore company for the purpose of hiding your assets from the tax man.you deserve what you’ll get. They were never designed for this but as usual, the criminal element decided to twist it to their own desires and consequently…….now the US GOV is coming down hard. It is foolish IMO to set up a trust or other instrument except for the purpose of protecting yourself against creditors or suit happy attorney’s. They can find it if it’s here. For instance, did you know that if an attorney or creditor needs to find assets, if it’s offshore they have to A. Physically go there and file a claim and also put down all of the fees and not just a retainer. This can be in the thousands. This alone discourages most lawyers because it’s just not worth it. Even if they fly off the where the account is, there’s no guarantee that they can find it if it’s set up with nominee’s. The motto is: they can’t grab what they can’t find. In this country, that’s a different story altogether. They can keep digging right here in the comfort of the United States and eventually they can find your assets if they look hard enough. Even so-called bulletproof instruments may not be all that bulletproof. Don’t confuse honest, straightforward offshore instruments designed for “protection of assets” with offshore accounts merely used to “hide assets from the US GOV. There’s a HUGE DIFFERENCE. For my money…offshore is the way to go. But, where you go offshore is equally important. Do your homework!

Recently the company I work for decided to eliminate my position but did offer me another position at good bit less pay.

I have 20 $25,000 Dinar Dollars & would be willing to sell them for $920.00 plus FedEx shipping & with a certified check or money order.

I need to raise some cash for my situation.

Thank you,

John Hoffman

Adam I totally agree with where you are going with this whole thing.
I worked in Iraq for a year and have already done things you suggest, such as Warka and so on.
I was there. Seeing is believing.
Thanks for writing that book!
