China revalued currency!!! Could the VND follow? I believe yes and with that in mind their is going to be more pressure in Iraq to RV/RI.

CBI still is not having auctions for the second week. Could it be preparation for the RV/RI?

This is only my second post on this site and my prediction for the RV/RI has never changed.

Look up my post. I’ve always said it could be imminent with Aug being the latest for various reasons.

With Iraq trasnsitinally on the verge of civil warfare and if politics don’t iron Govt situation things are not looking promising.

With that in mind I believe Daddy, US/UN are going to make somethings happen and behind the scenes already have a plan in motion for this situation.

Another words RV coming!!!!!

HOPE – Just saw this story.

Good question, yet one that no one I know can answer. There has been much talk about restoring Iraqi dinar to former level, which was in $3.32 range under Saddam, but this was never an international rate, so we cannot determine what they mean by former rates.

Having followed this for over six years, my gut says .33 rather than $3.32 range to start. No doubt, others have said in time they want to be equal to other regional countries, and Kuwait is $3.60 range, so what they mean and when they mean to restore is the big question no one knows.

With so much that has happened as stated, if not very slow, I do expect a revalue to happen this year, and with Alawi about to be seated as Prime Minister, he too has stated he wants to restore dinar to former level and he also stated he wants it equal to other middle east countries, so if we average them out, this would mean closer to $3.00, so we shall see, just be patient and sit tight.

It is interesting to read that so many people are so smart on how it will all unfold with a negative attitude on it. Why are you even keeping up with it if you feel the time and effort are a waste to you? No one knows. It is a total gamble that many of us hope will turn out on the positive end. It cost a purchase that each person was aware could just be money gone forever.

I bought 5 years ago hoping for an immediate rv. Everyone expects it now and seems unlikely. why would they not remove zeros rather than pay out large somes of $’s. However still hoping for best.
