Dinar Revalue news July 19 2010

Hey friends,

I have had a heck of a week… well, by “week” I mean 10 days! Many of you are members of DinarVets.com and already saw the chat I did, so this is old (3 days) news. Regardless, I’m here to repeat it because things are heating up even more since I did that chat!

First, I know we have some new visitors and I get the same questions a LOT… so let me answer a common one.

“Adam, who are you and why do people talk about you?!” The answer – I’m a guy who started studying Iraq about 6 years ago, invested in the dinar, and then built a massive following based on my no-nonsense approach to this investment! My email newsletter is approaching 20,000 members… that didn’t happen on accident! I also run the Dinar News network, which is made of several sites, such as this site and the dinar forum DinarVets.com.

DinarVets.com and DinarSpeculation.com make up two of the largest Dinar websites on the internet. DinarSpeculation.com has been around since before most other websites even heard about the Dinar, and the Dinar News network is THE LARGEST group of collective dinar Investors on the planet, hands down… as such, people contact me.

One of those people is a person employed by the CBI, and multiple other people in high ranking positions in Iraq and in the US Government contact me frequently about the Dinar as a result of having earned the loyalty of you visitors… and more importantly, as a result of having earned the TRUST of you Dinar Investors.

I usually don’t post stuff that I can’t back up without a link or a document, but I’m going to go out on a limb here this time. i have confirmation that smaller denoms are ready to be released. I’m not giving a date or a rate for the RV, but obviously this is good news because you can’t see a higher valued Dinar without a lower denominated currency. They can’t spend $10,000 notes at the store unless someone can make change, right?! They can’t take their bills into the bank unless they can get usable bills in return, right?! Another thing – what about the ATMs that were programmed to work ONLY with bigger denomination bills? I have confirmation that a software glitch was holding up that aspect, but is now 100% fixed.

Here’s the full chat: http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/24742-adam-montana-chat-07-17-10/

Let’s face it – Iraq isn’t going to lop. Iraq holds the worlds largest reserves of Natural Gas and the 4th largest reserves of Crude Oil. Iraq isn’t going to continue the good work of forming a stable country, only to remain in poverty! Have patience, my friends – good things are coming for all.

Now for the actual news:

Malawi and Alliki… oops! I meant Maliki and Allawi close to forming Government.

“Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki Iraqi rivals are reportedly close to agree on reinstating the country’s incumbent premier Nouri al-Maliki, making significant progress towards resolving the current political stalemate.

Al-Maliki’s State of Law coalition has reportedly joined talks with archrival and predecessor, Iyad Allawi’s al-Iraqiya Alliance on the deadlock that followed the parliamentary polls earlier in the year. ”

Big signs from Iraq that the “crisis is almost over”:

The Iraqiya bloc also proposed Hamam Hammoudi, also of al-Hakim’s Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, as the Iraqi parliamentary speaker.

This came as Allawi was scheduled to meet with Sadrist trend leader Moqtada al-Sadr yesterday in Damascus amidst signs that the crisis over the formation of the Iraqi government is drawing to a close.

And in the end, we have this article that shows the news from Iraq remains the same: back, forth, nothing changes except the ink cartridges in the printing presses.

Blocs meet, end with no decision.

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The heads parliamentary blocs met on Monday to discuss the issue of forming the new Iraqi government and resuming Parliament’s session, said a media source from the House of Representatives, stressing that the meeting ended without reaching any result on both issues.

But overall – things are moving forward, and patience is a virtue. See you soon!

  2. Atta Khalil Atta Khalil says:

Adam, do you really believe that the Dinar will be revalued between .01 to .10 cents or just small percentage of 5 to 10%. Is it their intention to exchange the larger denoms for small ones simply without any significant change in value ? Seeing all the trouble and instability prevailing in Iraq, I have serious reservation about the RV theary. I may be wrong… But I just cannot visualize an artificial increase of IQD value.

  3. redshadylady2 redshadylady2 says:

I have a Question: where could I exchange my dinars for $$$ when RV “jumps up”? Do I need an account in Iraqie bank? Cpould you recommend any agency in Los Angeles?

  11. Greg Greg says:

My investment and vigil go back (6) years, trying to understand the endless mystery that will force a revaluation of the dinar. In 2008, it came to me like a brick out of a window. When no excuse made sense, one did: There will be no RV until PM Maliki is no longer PM. We have lower denominations of the dinar, but no RV. Who sits in the PM chair on July 20, 2010?

my question adam is dosent a country have to have money in there back up reserve for there money to be worth something. kuwait seemed to be in the same boat a couple of years back there money revuned and made people millions but they had money in reserve so is that what iraq is going to have to do as well?

  24. Marc Marc says:

Adam, Appreciate your site, Wondering wht you think of the ability of Iraq to pay, For example I bought 1,000,000 dinar in 2005 hoping for a quick turn around like Kuwait. Now there are many moreof us. Iraq has a gnp of 16 billion, and assuming there are at least 100,000 investors at 1,000,000 each that equals 100 billion. Is this feasible, or am I missing something?

  25. Howard Howard says:

    The international
    banks will only
    exchange Iraq dinars
    when the dinar is
revalued and onto the international monetary exchange.
    Chase bank is
    international and
    will most likely
    exchange right after
the revalue of the Iraq dinar and
    Iraq is put onto the
    international
    money exchange….
which Iraq is not now on but may be
on anytime from now to maybe summer 2011 is my guess.

  26. Howard Howard says:

I was able to do currency
    exchange from American dollars
    to Iraq dinars with Chase
bank a year or so ago but Chase
    stopped this swervice. They
did not charge a fee if you had
    a savings or checking account
with Chase. If you did not have
    an account they charged only
    $5. U.S. dollars to exchange
    any amount. They will most
likely exchange again ($dollars to Dinars or Dinars to $dollars) when Iraq goes onto the INTERNATIONAL MONETARY EXCHANGE. Other banks
that do international exchanges will most likely do so as well.

  27. Howard Howard says:

The other Iraq Dinar web sites
that may help everone that is
    interested in Iraq Dinars are:
    dinarbanker.com
    dinartrade.com (buys dinars)
    tampadinar.com
    newiraqcurrency.com
NOTE: If you buy Iraq Dinars
be sure to keep your purchase
    receipt, the Dinars, have photo
ID, and a bank account with it’s account number and routing number so when you exchange your Iraq Dinars for U.S. dollars$ the dollars can be electronicly wired into your bank account.

  28. Howard Howard says:

    EXTRA NOTE: IRAQ DINARS are
cash so banks want a purchase receipt from you when you exchange the Dinars for U.S. $dollars. Why? Because they
may think you got the Dinars
in an illlegal way such as
    being an international drug
    dealer.

  29. Michael Green Michael Green says:

Adam, I hate to sound negative but I have been an investor since 2004 and I have lost count as to the number of times the dinar was supposed to revalue, here we are July 2010 and it still has not happened, Will it ever? Those in poWer in Iraq do not seem bothered what happen in their country,

  30. D. Wilson D. Wilson says:

Adam I need some help, I opened a account with warka when I was in the green zone Baghdad 08, my on line banking pass word has expired and they are not answering my e-mail to reinstate my pass word any sugestions?? I am waiting for the RV and hope that my pass word glitch is not a big problem. thanks

  31. Angela Angela says:

Does anyone know if the Vietnam Dong would also be a good investment to the Iraqi Dinar? I have been trying to look around about it, but I am not finding much about it.

    • Adam Montana Adam Montana says:

Angela, what does the VND have going for it similar to Iraq?

Nothing. It’s a decent long term possibility, but it has nowhere near the potential of the Dinar.

  32. Brian Brian says:

Adam, Since we are not sure that our 25,000 dinar will be safe, should we just get smaller bank notes to be safe?

  33. Frank Wdowiak Frank Wdowiak says:

adam- you ROCK! thanks for your relentless efforts and sharing your information with all of us. Super!

  35. Vickie Vickie says:

Adam, went into BOA to transfer funds to WARKA, took email from bank with wiring info, same as your site, and they didn’t have a clue as to how to do it. Kept asking if Chase was middle bank, does Warka have a BIC or SWISS code…what do I tell them?

  36. Vickie Vickie says:

Ok, after doing research last night on line about wiring funds to Warka, figured it out. Different BOA took the wire and it is going out today! YES!! 1st deposit!! Hope it goes like planned. While waiting in line I thought, if they take my 300k IQD and make it 3K IQD, removing 2 zeros, and we were “hoping” RV for $3USD a dinar, now instead of $900k USD I am looking at $9k USD, as an example. Is that how it would work Adam? Of course any additional return is good, but is this the way the math would work, regardless of how much the RV would be?

  44. BAD NEWS!!!!!

Iraqi Central Bank confirms its intention to delete the three zeroes from the currency
Stockpiles of the coin at the box in an Iraqi bank.

    22.07.2010
    Ghassan Ali
The Central Bank of Iraq that he was serious in the application of deleting three zeros from the national currency in the near future. Bank adviser said the appearance of Mohammed Saleh, said that it depends at the present time the formation of the next Iraqi government and parliament two new Siokman on them, which will be determining the mechanism whereby the application of the project to delete the zeroes of the Iraqi currency.

The question being debated extensively about the success of this step in improving the Iraqi economy, says Chancellor valid in an interview with Radio Free Iraq that the deletion of zeros will contribute to reduce the size of inflation and reduce the size of the money supply in the Iraqi market of 26 trillion dinars to approximately 25 billion dinars, indicating that the Kurdish language to be added to the new currency as well as Arabic and English.

The consultant said that for the large number of money circulating in the Iraqi market has led to a confusion in large commercial transactions, the work of banks, noting that deleting three zeros from the Iraqi dinar will to reform the management system of the national currency and thus improve and revitalize the Iraqi economy.

However, the economic expert, Salim al-Jubouri varies with the central bank adviser believes that the deletion of zeros from the Iraqi currency will not necessarily lead to improved national economy, but on the contrary may cause additional confusion in the local market, calling at the same time the Iraqi government to go to support market stability and the national currency rather than replaced with a new value and other currency.

Hello Kathy you do not have to have a receipt. The banks will run it through the De La Rue Machine. They will only want to know if it’s counterfeit or not.

  46. Holybowler Holybowler says:

In regards to the troops, I am being told that more are being deployed right now, my friend’s son just got notice he’s heading back to IRAQ on Aug 10th, so I’m guessing something is happening soon (US/UN forcing the seeding of GOI) and more troops are needed temporarily, and then all pulled 3 weeks later… Thought it was interesting he was being sent back.

  47. Vickie Vickie says:

Adam, I wired on Friday and email came from Warka today saying it was already there! Now, for investing. In mean time, what is acceptable in the way of receipt, on cash IQD, when RV cashed in?

  48. NICK NICK says:

Hi Adam. I am kind of confused I have a very simple question to ask you about CBI’ s site. Where can I find in the CBI’s site only ( not other sites )that is written about ” REDENOMINATION BY THE END OF THIS YEAR ( DEC 31, 2010 )?If Adam and folks here already knows , I will be very appreciated if you folks can tell me. Once again, thank you very much for your information that you have given to us Adam.

  49. Moms angel Moms angel says:

I purchased the book and thought that the VIP came with it. If I am mistaken please guide me as to how I become one…. I am the worst techie

  50. NICK NICK says:

Hi Adam. Personally, Everytime I read the news in this blog or other sites ( not including CBI” s site ), I just read for entertainment purpose and never take it seriously because all the news that spread around aren’t true. For one thing for sure, I only believe what is written in CBI “S SITE only. Therefore, What I am going to do now is just WAIT and WAIT until someone ( in iraq government )or whoever dare to write the WORD ” REDENOMINATION OR REEVALUATION ( RV ), INCLUDING THE DATE FOR REDENOMINATION OR RV IN THE CBI” S SITE ONLY ” and I bet that ” WORD ( either one or both )” will stay for a long time in CBI”s site until the day the redenomination or RV or both happens. Though, I know this is just my own personal opinion. I know some people won”t agree with me. It is ok. So, tell me what is your opinion, folks and Adam? I really appreciated all opinion and suggestion from all folks and Adam here.

  51. Tammy Tammy says:

    Adam,

I love reading your posts. My sister told me you’re the best to report true findings and will admitt if what you report is a rumor. Thanks for that. I purchsed Dinar back in 04. I’ve been hopefully many times that the RV would come soon. Here we are July, 27th-2010 and still no RV. I’m hearing that maybe this week it could RV and I’ve heard anywhere from $1.26 to $3.26 to USD. I’ve prayed that God will bless this investment for everyone that was blessed to be able to invest in it and beleive he will allow it to come around to bless his children that did invest. I have an account ready to wire it into when it finally RVs..so I think I’m ready…now all we need is the RV!!!

  52. Tammy Tammy says:

Patty 7…I love what you say but how can you know that for sure? I’ve not heard it will RV that high but have heard it could RV for 3.26 to the USD…I would glady take that. but nothing I’m hearing is a sure thing..

  53. Vickie Vickie says:

BAGHDAD — The U.S. Defense Department is unable to properly account for over 95 percent of $9.1 billion in Iraqi oil money tapped by the U.S. for rebuilding the war ravaged nation, according to an audit released Tuesday.

The report by the U.S. Special Investigator for Iraq Reconstruction offers a compelling look at continued laxness in how such funds were being spent in a country where people complain basic services like electricity and clean water are sharply lacking seven years after the U.S.-led invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein.

The audit found that shoddy record keeping by the Defense Department left the Pentagon unable to fully account for $8.7 billion it withdrew between 2004 and 2007 from a special fund set up by the U.N. Security Council. Of that amount, Pentagon “could not provide documentation to substantiate how it spent $2.6 billion.”

The funds are separate from the $53 billion allocated by Congress for rebuilding Iraq.

The report comes at a critical time for Iraq, which four months after inconclusive elections squabbling political factions have still not agreed on a new government.

Despite security gains made since 2008, bombings remain near a daily occurrence that compound the frustrations and fears of Iraqis increasingly weary of the political crisis — one many say reflects how the country’s politicians are more interested in their own interests than those of the nation.

The continuing impasse was highlighted on Tuesday when Iraqi lawmakers gathered for the second time this month only to indefinitely postpone the parliamentary session because there was still no decision on the new government.

Acting speaker Fouad Massoum told reporters that the postponement was designed to give the political blocs more time to discuss contentious issues and agree on the distribution of positions in the new government.

“With every delay, the suffering of the Iraqi people and security risks are increasing,” lawmaker Salman al-Jumaili told reporters, criticizing the move.

The U.S. audit is unlikely to do anything but further stoke that frustration felt by Iraqis who continue to suffer from poor infrastructure despite the billions spent.

The audit cited a number of factors behind the inability to account for most of the money withdrawn by the Pentagon from the Development Fund for Iraq.

It said most of the Defense Department organizations that received DFI money failed to set up Treasury Department accounts, as required.

In addition, it said no Defense Department organization was designated as the main body to oversee how the funds were accounted for or spent.

“The breakdown in controls left the funds vulnerable to inappropriate uses and undetected loss,” the report said.

Calls to Iraqi officials for comment went unanswered.

The Defense Department, in responses attached to the audit, said it agreed with the recommendations laid out in the report about establishing better guidelines for monitoring such funds, including appointing an organization to be responsible for overseeing such funds mostly likely by November.

The audit found that the U.S. continues to hold about $34.3 million of the money even though it was required to return it to the Iraqi government.

The audit did not indicate that investigators believed there were any instances of fraud involved in the spending of these funds.

The DFI includes revenues from Iraq’s oil and gas exports, as well as frozen Iraqi assets and surplus funds from the now-defunct, Saddam Hussein-era oil-for-food program.

With the establishment of the Coalition Provisional Authority, which ran Iraq shortly after the start of the U.S. invasion in 2003 until mid-2004, about $20 billion was placed into the account.

The Iraqi government had agreed to allow the U.S. continued access to the funds after the CPA was dissolved in 2004, but it revoked that authority in December 2007.

Ok Adam, so what do you think this will mean for the RV?

  54. JD JD says:

  57. NICK NICK says:

Hi Adam. Thank’s for your quick response and I am very appreciated. By the way, When I read all news everywhere in this blog or other sites, I am laughing at myself ( this is what I call it for entertainment purpose )because I feel like it is just making up story. For example, today is a good news and tomorrow is bad news, then next week is good news again, then may be next month is bad news. This won’t end it always continue repeating again and again. And, what I am thinking now is I challenge someone whoever ( in iraq government ) dare to write the word ” REDENOMINATION OR RV OR BOTH INCLUDING THE DATE ” on the CBI’S SITE only. What I mean is just write the point the title of the news not the rest of the story of the news. For example, just write ” REDENOMINATION ON ….. ( DATE )OR RV ON….. ( DATE )OR BOTH “, and for the rest of the story can’t be read in news everywhere. See , this is a very short simple sentence and this WORD is the most important and meaningful things that I am waiting for someone in iraq government to be able to write it down in CBI’S SITE ONLY so everyone can read, understand, and trust it. Personally, I can bet with my own head that someone or whoever in iraq government will not dare to write something isn’t sure 100% and that thing won’t happen in CBI’S SITE ONLY. Someone in iraq government will be very very very very careful and will think 1 million or 1 billion times before they want to write something very important in CBI’S SITE only. And, the CBI is owned by government of iraq, not owned by private company. I know folks here won’t agree again with me on this, but it is ok. What do you think Adam and folks here? Any comments suggestion I love to hear from all of you.

  58. chad chad says:

well i just read the article on lopping the three zeros. does this mean we want make the big profit anymore?

  59. Brian Brian says:

Does anyone have any opinions on trading in your 25000 notes for lower denominations?

  60. chuy chuy says:

Both Russia and Afghanistan are countries who have zero lopped their currency.
Lets look at their situations in relation to the Iraqi Dinar and the speculation and
rumors about Iraq doing a zero lop on their currency:

Afghanistan had 4 types of currency in circulation as a result of a civil war. It was
unknown how much of each was in circulation. For the people and the
government, this was a very difficult situation. As a result, the currency kept
losing it’s value. They needed something both credible and efficient to use as
currency. You did not want people carrying around bags of money since
everything is cash based. Their zero lop happened at the same time as they
printed new currency to replace the confusing mix they had before. This ensured
everyone had the same currency, there was a known amount in circulation, and
people could buy and sell things with few notes. It has little in common to the
Iraqi Dinar and the speculation about the zero lop. Iraq has already
printed and established a single national currency, with secure features
and knows exactly how much is in circulation. The Dinar denominations are
already designed to carry high or low values without carrying around sacks of
money. It makes no sense for them to change the face of the currency, when
they are talking about increasing the value to fit their economic goals.

Russia performed zero lopping to their currency in 1998. They did this in
response to hyperinflation and to restore confidence in their currencies structure
and value. Iraq has roughly only 20% inflation. Russia also had denominations
    that went too high – they had denominations of 5k, 10k, 50k, 100k, and 500k –
    which were replaced with denominations of 5, 10, 50, 100 , and 500. In
comparison, Iraq’s highest denomination is the 25k and has denominations all the
way down to 25 Dinar. If Iraq did zero lopping off the structure of the bills,
they would overlap denominations that already exist. This does not make
sense or fit the stated goals with the Iraqi Dinar. It seems that a zero lop, or
zero lopping would not occur with the denominations of the Dinar, but by
increasing it’s value with a revalue that would benefit their economy and their
    poor in a positive way.

Hello all, new to this site. Maybe the LOP is disinformation on Iraq’s part, maybe not. and I see anyone who mentions a LOP getting chewed out. I am just curious as to WHY they wouldn’t LOP. It would mean paying investors back a THOUSAND TIMES less that they would have to if they didn’t LOP. Even if the did LOP, their currency would still be at 3:1, if that ends up being the rate. I’m not a banker, just a humble investor. I hope to hell they don’t LOP, but does anyone have any thoughts on this? Any help would be appreciated. Good luck all!
