Hey friends,
Lots of stuff in the Dinar news lately, if you’ve been keeping up! In fact… there’s so much dinar revaluation and Iraqi political news regarding the Dinar that it’s actually confusing, to say the least!
I’m going to start this update by giving you my opinion. Then I’m going to give you some rumor. And then, for the newshounds out there – I’ll give you some articles.
Many people ask me why I don’t post every day. That’s easy! There’s simply not news worth discussing every day. It’s real easy to copy and paste the articles from all over the web, but all that does is confuse people. It overloads you with a high pitched buzz that does nothing to help you! One thing is for sure… you can always count on me to bring you the important news and updates as they come. If you’re on the newsletter, you never have to worry about missing an important update.
Current Dinar Speculation.
One other thing is for sure… nothing in Iraq happens on time! They have a constitution that has specific deadlines in them… that get ignored. They get ultimatums from the DFI and the IMF and from every other Billy-Bob-Sue-Mary-
Tom out there… and Iraq ignores them.
Iraq moves at their own pace. Which brings me to my opinion: we’re still on pace, even if it’s slower than some like. Things are still moving towards a revaluation of the Iraqi Dinar. I don’t mean you’ll be rich on Tuesday! I mean that at some point in the near future you are going to make some money if you were smart enough to invest in Iraq! I think that’s pretty simple, so I’ll leave it at that!
Current Dinar Rumor
Now here’s some rumor. I call it rumor, because I can’t back it up with sworn testimony by the people it came from… this is just from conversations I’ve had recently. Apparently buzz is really hot at the CBI right now due to Maliki being either ousted or cajoled or sweet talked… either way, we’re moments away from seeing Maliki outta the place where he currently has his Iraqi butt planted and once that’s done, we’re in for some major progress for Iraq and the Iraqi Dinar. To paraphrase what my CBI contact told me: “Adam, this RV has been waiting for a ‘push’ for a long time now. It’s so darn close right now it doesn’t even need a ‘push’, it should just fall off the edge!” Suffice it to say…. he’s excited, and I’m excited too.
Still, we have no firm date on when to expect a change in the rate of the Iraqi currency, and in fact… we have the opposite if you believe the stories published by Iraq. Which brings me to…

Iraq insists that the UN cannot force a government upon them.
… says the leadership of the Sadrist movement, Bahaa al-”The UN Security Council can not impose a government on the Iraqi people, even if the United States tried to pressure him,” noting that “any international body has no legal powers to form a government away from the Iraqi political parties, except in the case obstruction of the Parliament and the Constitution “.
With all of the posturing and lack of real movement, it’s no wonder the world is starting to get anxious. Iraqi leaders state that it is unlawful for another entity (like the UN) to step in.
It is possible that Allawi and Maliki could share the PM seat. This would be an amazing feat, but nonetheless – it is in the news.
Maliki, Allawi agree to take over the positions of Prime Minister and the Republic for a period of two years each
Confirmed leader of the Kurdistan Alliance Sami Shoresh of an agreement between the Iraqi leader Iyad Allawi’s bloc and leader of the rule of law, Nuri al-Maliki to form Iraqi government over the next few days.
… or is it?
Allawi: we reject the principle of sharing power with the rule of law
Prime Iyad Allawi’s Iraqi List, non-adherence to the post of prime minister in the new government, but stressed his unwillingness to relinquish the right to “Iraqi List” led in the formation of the government.

Allawi said: I am personally ready to leave the presidency of the ministry will didst seize it, but I am not prepared to concede the right of the Iraqi people to highlight the last candidate to be prime minister, and I have no reservation in that minimum.”
(You see?! That’s why it’s best to take everything with a grain of salt. One minute one news…. and the next, BAM!, it’s been contradicted.)
Here’s a fact, though: Iraq’s inflation rate is at the lowest level in 30 years for the second straight month. (link)
Here’s another fact: Iraq’s debt to Kuwait is being whittled down, which leaves Iraq more and more in control of their own money and their own reserves. Perhaps nobody you speak to has thought of this yet, and maybe you haven’t heard me say it… but Kuwait doesn’t want to be paid back reparations. Kuwait wants Iraq to revalue, owing them as much as possible, because THAT is how Kuwait makes the most money! The same works for us, Dinar Investors. The more Iraq owes us when they change the value of the currency… the better we make out. And the less Iraq owes Kuwait… the better it is for us, too! I know people don’t like to be told to wait a little longer, but this is a great example of why the wait will be worth it:
Kuwait gets $650 mln in Iraqi reparation
GENEVA (AFP) – The United Nations released 650 million dollars in Iraqi compensation to Kuwait on Thursday, the latest payment of a war reparation scheme that began in 1994.
The payment brings the total sum of compensation paid to Kuwait to 30.15 billion dollars. A further 22.3 billion dollars is due to Kuwait.

This all sounds great. With Iraq’s debt to Kuwait gone.. they can then begin pumping, refining, and exporting the surplus of rich surface oil. As long as B.P. stays out of it..(I kid..) Like many others, I am impatiently waiting for the RV to happen. The speculated dates come and go and still nothing. I’m still keeping the faith that it will happen before the end of the year and am sure Adam will let us know.

i believe the central bank of iraq is going to lop three zero’s off the dinar value upon revalueing…making my 6,000,000 dinars worth 6,000 dinars x whatever they revalue at…probably make a few bucks but never gonna get rich fron it
Great update and it is always good to see you here. I haven’t seen an email of late and hope I didn’t get kicked out of your email group. I have had two friends come on board with the IQD and made them understand it could still take a while. Warka has been fantastic to work with. Quick responses, and I was surprised to see my money was able to purchase so much more IQD per USD, by going direct into account. I hope to be able to financially add to it, get into VIP AND invest in the stock market SOON! One day at a time. Thanks again for being there for all of us.

I look forward to your message on “Cashing-in and Taxes. Over two years ago, I bought my Dinars at Chase. A year later, I asked them to trade in my 25k’s for smaller bills. They said they no longer exchange and they won’t know the position the bank will take until the RV. Are all the banks taking this position?

According to all news sources, august 31, 2010 is the combat pull out date. What effect do you see this having on encouraging the CBI to push forward in a timely manner the RV? Also, if D.J. Trump spent 30Mil USD, doesnt it make sense that he knows something about not losing 30Mil USD?
A friend who banks with Chase Bank near Cleveland said that the manager told him that Chase will NOT cash in Dinars after the RV due to the volatility of the political situation in Iraq. This was from a memo from corporate hq. Can anyone with a Chase account confirm this? Chase sold Dinars for years and was a big player in Iraq prior to 2003. It seems to me if Chase won’t honor the Dinar then they have “burned their bridges” with Iraq and won’t be allowed to re-open their branches in Iraq.
Steve, no offense to your friend who banks there – but I’ve spoken to higher-ups whom I won’t name. Your friend likely just spoke to a Banker, who is not privy to much of the future plannings.
If the rv is tied to the formation of an iraqi govt. isn’t that formation tied to United States politics? What I’m referring to is the apparent feeling that the republicans will take control of the house and senate this fall. If that happens, will they allow Pres. Obama to pull our troops out of Iraq in 2011? Why should the Iraqi govt. rush into anything until after the Nov. elections?

I have been trying to open a warka account now for a while, but nobody responds to my emails from Warka. Between what I have heard from Ali and other sources, I’m inclined to admit that it may be too late to open a warka account. Which could very well mean that the RV is upon us! I also heard that CBI quit selling the Dinar at auctions the other day. For what reason, again I’m not sure. Go RV!!!

I hear a lot of talk now of the Dinar maturing in the near future,could this be true,will the World Bank soon let this money back into the world a worth cash? If Iraq has begain to sekk their oil and do business w/ Kuwait,then why would it not be long before the money was to mature at the world banks. & if and when it does,where in the USA would we do a exchange to turn it into American cash??? If they LOP the three zeros, will we still get the 1000:1 value if the Dinar RVs to 1 USD? If they are exchanging a 25K dinar note for a 25 Dinar note, this would say no. They would have to exchange the 25K note for 25-1K dinar notes correct? I’ve looked everywhere and cannot seem to get a concrete answer from anyone regarding this. Kenny, if there’s a currency lop that evens out the money, it just negates the zeros unless they lop the 0′s off the exchange rate. If there’s a revalue it revalues the money.

Indonesia contemplating currency revaluation

On 3 August 2010, Darmin Nasution, the incoming governor of Bank Indonesia stated the central bank is studying revaluing its currency by removing two or three zeros from the rupiah in an attempt to make economic transactions more efficient and bring the currency in line with those of Indonesia’s neighbors. The study won’t be completed until the end of this year, and any move to revalue the rupiah wouldn’t take place until 2013 at the earliest. I’m with Kenny, still no concrete answer regarding the LOP of the 3 zeros? All Iraqis stand to become millionairs (by us currency)when the revalue happens. This can’t happen. It would be like the President of the United States making all americans millionaires overnight by revaluing our currency, but that can not happen. So, there has to be an evening out of sorts.
I still am waiting for someone to tell me where I might be able to cash my dinar when the reval happens. I work in Detroit, MI and would love to know where I can do that. I also am wondering how much tax we might have to pay??? Thanks for any info.

1.) Who is the owner of XE’s site?Does it belong to Government of Iraq or Private Company?

Hi, im from Indonesia,answer to Kennedy about the redenomination is real, but not in near time (sorry with my english, hope u understand it. Gov said it won’t affect anything in market, they just try to make Rupiah more worthy, couse not like Dollar, we dont use 1 Rupiah, our smallest is Rp50 and it’s almost disapear in market (they use candy for repplace it)so its different with sanering. dont know will it happen to Iraq, couse it still make a pro & contra in here, they said it will need a really good economic situation (i dont see it in Indonesia or Iraq). well that’s all i know, once aggain sorry with english
