7 day countdown to Ramadan – hopefully big Dinar News on the way!!!!
Good morning friends and family!
A few days ago I sent an email, announcing my excitement about the next 10 days.
I am still excited and very optimistic, and wanted to give you all a quick update on my thoughts. (I hopped in the chatroom at DinarVets.com to explain this, but I’ll explain it here too. Discuss the chat on the forum here.)
What I am hearing is that we have a decent chance of seeing Chapter 7 or the HCL (Hydro Carbon Law) effectively or permanently resolved before Ramadan.
In my humble opinion, this is HUGE and exactly what we need in order to see a revaluation of the Iraqi Dinar!
Let’s break it down:
I’ve been saying for years that we need a few things to happen before the Iraqi Dinar can possibly revalue. The three major elements to a Revaulation of the Iraqi dinar are the HCL, the GOI, and Chapter 7.
Why?
GOI (Government of Iraq)
This one should be a no-brainer, but I’ll break it down. 8 years ago the value of the Iraqi Dinar plummeted and the country was thrown into darkness almost overnight. Since then, the country of Iraq has worked it’s way back from that devastation and they now have a pretty efficient democratic process in place! There could NEVER have been a revaluation of the now devalued Iraqi Dinar without a reasonably sufficient government to back it up.
In my opinion, we now have a government that is sufficiently capable of handling a more valuable currency.
GOI – CHECK!!!!!
Unfortunately… this is only one of three necessary items. Here are the other two items:
Chapter 7 restrictions
Iraq is currently under Chapter 7 of the United Nations, which (in a nutshell) prohibits the country from operating a fully functioning military. While Iraq is under Chapter 7, they simply cannot defend their own wealth and the RV will not happen until they are able to defend themselves! The other item is the HCL.
Chapter 7 lifted – NOT YET. 
HCL (Hydro Carbon Law)
The Hydro Carbon Law is (in a nutshell) what is and will keep Iraq from operating as a “business” – they need to be able to sell a product so they can back up the value of their currency! Until the HCL is resolved, there can be no RV.
HCL resolved – NOT YET
Now for the good news!
Agreements are pending on BOTH of these items! I am hearing rumors that there is a push to get both of these items forced through at almost the same time. If this happens before Ramadan, I believe we could be seeing movement on the Dinar VERY soon!

The HCL law and Chapter 7 may go down within your predicted 10 days but I think it may be only wishful conjecture that there will be a RV. But I will say your guess is probably better than most in my opinion.
what happen when are if the three zero’s are erased from the dinar? will a 25,000 bill be worth only &25.00 or the 5,000 bill be only $5.00?

Interesting question Victor. Personally I think removing 3 zeros from a 25,000 dinar note do mean that you can exchange your current high denomination note against the new small denomination note of 25 dinars which they are currently printing. Now let assume that the dinar revalues to $4.00 so it means your 25,000 dinar note will be worth only 25 x 4 meaning $100. Simple maths and logic. Victor this is my assumption as I did also ask the same question and nobody cared to give a just reply. Anyway lets hope for the best.
What will happen to the stocks that most of us have, will it lose it’s value all together are will we become instant millionaire, thousanaires etc.?

There is one other thing that was on the Cable Netwirk News recently and that was “China has agreed to write off 80% of Iraq’s debt to them” and that I’m sure also will have a positive effect on the Dinar.
With out the list you gave, nothing will happen……If not done by Ramadam, it will be a couple more months, as through Ramadam nothing will happen, and it will take another month to get back to speed….spent to many years there not to know this…..

You don’t need to publish this comment, but can I make a few suggestions?
First: eye-ball the text before you publish and correct simple mistakes. For example, You probably meant to say “Country of Iraw” (and not “Country or Iraq”). Also, there is no apostrophe in “its” when it is a possessive pronoun. So, I think you meant to say “…Iraq has worked its way back…”.
Also, you might avoid prefacing comments with “in my opinion”. It doesn’t matter whose opinion it is. It only matters whether the facts support what you say or not.

Thanks Adam for that update I haven’t seen this any where else, I am so excited about the RV, things are pretty bad in my finances but I’m staying prayed up about the RV so much so until I told my Son about it, Barry Jr. He’s a trucker and travels around the country but he has an AT&T cell that get everything he needs to keep abreast of the going ons of the dinars, he wants to purchase some. I am also encouraging him to join the many smart people that has become VIPs, he seem interested, mainly because his brother and sister has dinars from their visit to the country, my son as a civilian and my daughter as a soldier and I’m sure they’ve told him about the huge investment. I noticed that you stated that a couple in your family have dinar from their visit to Iraq. Just wanted to give you a heads-up that there were two publications of dinar, and only one will be the official dinar. I hope they have the New Iraqi Dinar that was released. I don’t believe the old dinar is exchanagable.

If the HCL and Chapter has not been dealt with why is it when we called our senator he said everything was done and the world court said we would see RV Sunday?

I am praying that what you as saying is what we having been waiting for, I have read and heard every email and chat that you have done, maybe I have missed just one. We all are very anxious to see the RV come. Many say that it was suppose to happen in June, July, now August, I hope this is the final date, because I am being to feel that this is never going to come. Our Government, I believe is one of the major hold backs that it has not happened yet. They want to line their pockets first before us pions get our chance. Thank you for your email and the explanation. After doing some study on my own and reading like crazy since February of this year, I have also come to the same conclusions.
I am not a prophet nor guru and seldom make posts in areas that are unfamiliar to me. However, I have made post in opposition to various “prophet” profits that have made wild predictions.
This is not for publication and if this is received by you are one of the moderators, please see that it is not read by anyone. I could be totally wrong because what I am about to write is a total guess but based upon some study. These predictions were made on July 6, 2011 and I sent them to myself.
1. The security minister would be appointed on July 11.
2. Chapter VII and HCL will be lifted on July 25-27.
3. RV will take place on August 3 with a rate of 4.40.
The rate is high I know. However, if it comes in low every speculator in the world will be rushing to purchase billions of dinar. Therefore my predicted high rate.

I think your wrong on the chapter 7 being lifted to RV. There is reason to believe that it will not be lifted do to the possible rate of the RV. They may wipe away some of there debt, but not all. Iraq will be in a possision to pay back on some of there debt, and by having that debt it will keep the inflation of the dinar down. So I wouldn’t waste to much time reading/watching the chapter 7 issues, but pay close attention to our goverment. We are the problem not anyone else at this time.

UST, alphabet agencies, etc, most of all high up sources from the GOI.

Good gosh – I thought I already was a VIP. After all, every debt note I’ve accumulated, other than housing, food, and occasional air tickets, has gone into a number of MLM’s. I am at the break-even point. Cry
What does worshiping the Moon God and Ramadan have to do with the RV ? I don’t believe that Ramadan has anything to do with this entire issue. It is more likely that the Debt Ceiling matter has more to do with the delays and the 48 hour
deadline for the Iraqi RV given by the World Court is over on Sunday the 24th.

Toqeer, quite simply – if it doesn’t happen before Ramadan, I doubt it will happen during Ramadan.
Adam, if it happens before or during Ramadan this very year, with part of my RV cash-in I’ll personally celebrate Ramadan with my Iraqi-American friends until the Blessed Hope of our coming Lord and Savior (or until my last breath in this world; whichever comes first). Many blessing upon our liberated Iraqi citizens, our liberating troops over there, and on all bonified Iraqi dinar holders. Happy Ramadan and Go Dinar!
Repeated alerts like these only compromise your position. Experienced sources say this is unlikely to happen at all. Perhaps you are trying to get traffic. Not to step on toes as we like your tone and coverage etc.

The government of Iraq wants to survive, like all governments. They have seen the turmoil in the rest of the middle east, of people there wanting freedom, and money, and jobs. The population in Iraq, like in Egypt, is young, connected to the internet and the global village. They won’t take no for an answer. They want money. They want jobs…..or they will kick their governments out, including Al-Maliki….And this means an RV of the Iraqi Dinar. A revalued currency that is valuable, and internationally traded, will mean a massive influx of goods and services, investment and jobs, into Iraq…..and that is just what the doctor ordered, for Iraq to get better.
And it is a matter of timing, as well. America is pulling out it’s troops, in the near future. Iran is a threat. So, the government of Iraq has to be able to stabilize the country, internally, as well as protect it externally, from threats. With the American troops gone, where will this sense of security and hope come from? Money. Oil money. Lots of oil money flowing into an economy can bring hope and peace. With more money, people are happy. They have jobs, investments. They are buying things. They start to have a vested interest, in peace and stability, in their country.
American troop withdrawals are a good thing for Iraq, but it will be a bit unsettling as well, as there are a lot of people in Iraq, who are understandably angry and frustrated, after so many years of war, and barbarism of Saddam, before that. Where will all that negative energy go? Well, with an RV, and oil money flowing in, that negative energy can be flipped around, and turned into positive energy, which would stabilize the situation in Iraq, as America pulls out.
And again, how is this all done? Simple. Pass the HCL, get rid of Chapter 7, and float the currency, so it will get back to it’s old value, all of which would bring enormous amounts of wealth, into Iraq.
Adam how, if it does, does the debt ceiling problem affect the RV? Some say the US is holding back the RV till they get it together. What you say makes sense but I am not sure how thye other problem factors into the mix. Thanks for all the info it has been a real learning experience.

Having lived the last 18 years in the Middle East, I can say without a doubt that LITTLE TO NOTHING gets done during the holy month of Ramadan, especially when it occurs during the summer months.
Yes, maybe the debt ceiling talks is pushing some of what Adam is talking about. I don’t know. I’m not an expert. However, I can tell you all that business matters, big or little or in-between, normally DO NOT get adequate attention during Ramadan and other Islamic holidays.

Where can I get a copy of the HCL?
In my opinion, the hold up is in DC. Obama wants the nation in perpetual debt. He has no excuse to raise the debt ceiling since the UST holds dinars. The best thing Americans can do is call their US Representatives and Senators…switchboard number…202-224-3121…ask for your Senator and Representatives (it will take three separate calls) and tell them you know that the UST holds dinars and can pay the debt and that the whole drama in DC is political posturing for the 2012 elections. Let them know that you know there is no problem and they are just playing games. There is no need to raise the debt ceiling, taxes, or not pay social security. It is a game to see how far they can take things into the NWO (New World Order) without YOU, WE THE PEOPLE, stopping them. It will straighten them out when they know that “you know”. It’s really more important than you realize that they know you know the real story…then they stop playing the games for they realize their political lives and futures are at risk.

You seem to have an aversion to actual “good news.” So these two items are “pending”! That could mean almost anything. What do you really think? For example, what are the odds of RV before Ramadan? even money/ ten to one (or more) against? or two to one in favor; or what?
Through the range of comments we are flooded with regularly it seems to come down, finally, to the two extremes — those who can’t resist overflowing with certainty that it will be “tomorrow”, or “Next Monday – or maybe Tuesday . . . or those on the other end of the rope, who who will declare emphatically that we cant say anything of value, so maybe anything could, or maybe could not happen.

how far behind are you? the dinar has revalued in Iraq and Odumbo is holding it up here as he tries to take credit for it all. Iraq is really pissed off about it. they are going around the usa and making it happen without Odumbo
I consider myself a decent person- a proud redneck but you, I would bet you are a very dumb redneck.
Adam, any truth to the notion that the RV delay is on account of the GOI and the US reaching a stalemate, theory based not just on lack of agreement on the USD/IraqiDinar exchange rate, but also on the GOI wanting their currency backed up by gold, and the US maintaining the status quo, backing US currency by promises to pay with no intention of converting.
Neither situation bodes well for the RV’s happening any time soon because of the dire repercussions for the global economy in turning world finance on its head should the USD revert from its present currency “standard” to one backed by gold. The US would then go from developed to developing country, with China and India following not too far behind.
It seems that the Golden Rule here applies–them that has the gold, “black gold” included, rules, or benefits from taking their time, especially if demand is high and supply/production is limited. If the US is counting on the GOI to be UN compliant, the outlook would be rosier, but if not…don’t know. Does any of this make sense, or do you have any inkling of this particular kink in the RV equation?
Many positive encouragements from the posters here, and I second their emotion. Just passing on someone’s take on the RV scenario.
I have not participated in the discussion in a longtime, but I am a bit skeptical about the RV and the value it will translated to. Iraq has printed trillions of dinars that are being sold around the world. If for the RV to have good monetary value, the Iraqi economy has to be able to support all the dinars they sold worldwide coming back to rooster; if not they economy will crash.
As a dinar holder, I would like to see the RV because I have been siting those dinars for 7 years now.

That’s the problem Lou,, Adams’ inside man will not disclose the amount of dinar in circulation,. My guess is trillions,, which would make a lope of the three zeros mandatory.

For one thing, you kind of explain most of these acronyms (sp?) like GOI, IMF, JFK, FDR, etc. (forget those last two; I’ve never seen them on your site), and we Iraqi Dinar Rookies (IDRs) as opposed to the IDVs (you know — Veterans) really appreciate that (whenever you think to do it). For another thing, you always give us (both IDRs and IDVs) at least a little hope — but not way too much like some others — in each posting. Bravo! Go Adam! Go RV! It surely behooves the U.S. to not interfere with the RV since all dinar holders in the U.S. would help reduce the national debt once they obtain the gains on their investment. Just RV already, and let us pay the taxes and spend our gains in the economy. Instant stimulus for everyone that our grandchildren won’t have to shoulder.

First off I appreciate you information, research, and time though I think you have missed a few things along the way. The HCL is approved and in effect otherwise they would not be ratifying, signing oil and natural gas contracts, nor pumping 40,000 barrels per day out of a central Iraq, these are provable articles on aknews.com, alsumaria.com, aswataliraqiya.com, and Iraq-businessnews.com. secondly, the decision to keep or let the US troops stay was the issue which held up decisions by some blocs not allowing Maliki to seat the last of the 2 ministries, also proven on the same news sites, so those things are to be settled this week. Chapter 7 was lifted on June 30th they received possession of the DFI funds which told us that amount other things such as the UN announcing it in their press conference on the 19th of July. The Erbil agreement has been implemented but not completely without searing the remaining ministers of interior and defense, they have begun paying those who were harmed by Saddam’s regieme on July 19th between 5-10 million dinars each. So this leaves us with seating the last 2 ministers to complete the GOI and the circulation of the new lower denoms before we can see a RV, those are the facts it’s a simple matter of research and you would be armed with the truth, rather than speculative opinion.
…..I have Not purchased any Dinar, yet….I have many friends that have purchased dinar including some family members and lots of church members…..I have consulted with several of my investment guru’s from SBMS and they are advising not to purchase the dinar for an overnight investment windfall…..they say it is a high risk/long term nvestment that should be considered as such…….I have read a lot of what Adam Montana has written and I have read responses he has given….All is pure speculation on what MIGHT happen or IF it will happen…..I have noticed that a lot of you have asked questions but most of the ones that Adam responds to are concerning the VIP membership that he charges a fee for…….
I am not a pessimist but an optimist to the 10th degree but my optimism on purchasing some of the dinar has been lacking…..I like FACTS not SPECULATION!…….

I have invested in Iraq Dinars since 2005 and have listened to all the so-called experts on this Dinar RV since 2005. My comments are as follows: Never once have I heard from a qualified Banker, Economist or a financial expert who specializes in Money management as it relates to a country and the determining factors that influence the real value of any currency. Any expert will tell you that in this particular case a new currency will have to be issued first with a published time line on the relevance of the old Dinars, in other words “The old Dinars will not be accepted as Legal Tender after such and such Date”.
Normally The GDP of a country, it’s foreign debt, its Political and social stability along with it’s foreign and domestic reserves will determine the value of their money. If we are to examine Iraq with these considerations in mind one will conclude that an RV will have to be very gradual and over a protracted period of time. I am prepared to debate this topic with any qualified and experience expert in this area of Bilateral fiscal policy with emphasis on fiscal country policy having regard to the Global monetary influence.

I’m pretty sure that is already done, I had confirmation of that quite a while ago! Obviously they are not in circulation right now, but that should make perfect sense.
Iraq is going to re-denominate their currency. This is a fact. We have had several meetings on the transition. What this means is that for a period of time there will be two distinct currencies in circulation. The old dinar and the new dinar. The value won’t change meaning 5 new dinar = 5,000 old dinar. Same value. Both will buy the same thing. Now when the IQD gets on the exchange, the value against the USD will change based on trading. What will happen there, nobody knows. If there is money to be made, it will happen on the exchange. Will it jump from 1.17 new dinar to 3+? Possible, and that would be great. Dinar speculators would triple their investment.
Talking with a friend about UN chapter 7, a question was raised as to what Chapter 7 is. You have said it to prohibit a fully operational military in Iraq, but from what I have gathered, they have always had weapons in their homes and a functioning military. In all the years my friend spent in Iraq, he spent most of his time WITH their military. Are there other parts to Chapter 7 still in effect, or are they not allowed to do certain things without consent, or is it just a formality?
TheN8 – almost all Chapter 7 sanctions have been lifted, so yes they can have guns and operate minimally. However, the last remaining bit of Chapter 7 which they are still under prohibits them from operating a fully functioning military (including WMDs etc).
The casual observer might not think this is a big deal, but just look at Iran, who is right next door. Iran would love to own Iraq, and they are NOT under those sanctions. Who has the upper hand here? The answer is obvious.

Just set up an account at a wells Fargo bank in Washington state. They are excited and on board the Dinar train. They said that there were lots of excited people coming in and setting up accounts with them lately.

Hey Adam, is there something about Chapter 7 that we dont know? I see a few gurus like yourself say that chapter 7 has not been lifted. However on Foxnews.com they have an article that reports that as of Dec. 15, 2010 Chapter 7 was lifted off Iraq and that as of June 30, 2011 Iraq will be allow to trade and profit from their oil and other natural resources.
Where are u finding your info because Chp. 7 lifted was confirmed via Fox News.. If infact it has been lifted this is good for the RV becaus theywill have the resources to up back their currency.
